The Interreg project SMARAGD supports manufacturing SMEs in the Meuse-Rhine region in adapting to rapid changes in technology, sustainability, and workforce dynamics.

Through cross-border collaboration, SMARAGD helps companies implement digital tools, develop sustainable materials, and upskill their workforce to stay competitive in line with the European Green Deal.

Key actions include:

  • Assessing technology needs and readiness
  • Providing training and expert support
  • Showcasing digital and sustainable solutions
  • Sharing best practices across borders

By connecting industry partners and tech clusters, SMARAGD strengthens the region’s manufacturing sector for a smarter, greener, and more resilient future.
