The website www.composites-germany.org provides detailed information on the newly launched "Standardization Portal Composites". This portal is produced in cooperation with the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) and provides information on national, European and international standards for fibre reinforced plastics that have been published or are under development. This new and unique source of information for the composites market supports the existing standardisation work conducted by Composites Germany. 

Under the patronage of Composites Germany (regrouping the trade associations AVK, CFK Valley Stade, VDMA and Carbon Composites), a partner symposium has taken place at AZL in Aachen on May 20th 2014, gathering more than 100 participants of the member companies. The event was opened by Dr. Michael Effing (Chairman) and Fank Peters from the Board of Composites Germany.
