1. Review Meeting "Next Generation Mobility Solutions" at AZL

A composites school still enchants India´s children even ten years later
Ten years ago, in 2010, under the lead of Dr. Michael Effing, at the time President of the division Composite Resins at DSM, together with its partners, decided to install a school in Kusgaon, India, of which the building was entirely made from composite material. 140 pupils go to school there today, but the sponsorship has ran out and AMAC supports and sponsors the school still today. Dr. Michael Effing re-elected as Chairman of the Board of AVK
Dr. Michael Effing, CEO of AMAC GmbH, was confirmed as Chairman of the Board at the constitutive Board meeting on 25 November 2019. Dirk Punke, CEO of BÜFA Thermoplastics Composites GmbH, was elected as Deputy Chairman, while Prof. Jens Ridzewski (from IMA Materialforschung und Anwendungstechnik GmbH) was elected as Treasurer. Michael Polotzki, CEO of Menzolit S.r.L., also continues as a Board member. The Executive Board will be in office for three years from 1 January 2020. The related press release can be found here.
Airborne goes D-A-CH with AMAC
As of October 1st, 2019, the Netherlands-based global market leading manufacturer of advanced automation equipment and solutions for composites, Airborne, strengthens its activities particularly in German speaking countries, the so-called D-A-CH region, comprising Germany, Austria and Switzerland with Dr. Michael Effing from AMAC. The Dutch company is looking for specialised partnerships to develop and deepen its international business opportunities in the aerospace and automotive markets.
